I'm about to run the GMPP.  I was told by a few people that the GMPP was a little better than the Edelbrock.  From what I can see between the Edelbrock Victor Jr and the GMPP....the GMPP was cast a bit better.  The GMPP definately has some meat on it for porting...the Edelbrock seems a kinda skinny.

i agree, the gmpp is beefier than the victor jr.
but when it comes down to the super victor. the edelbrock is a bad mofo. now thats a serious build manifold.
im using on my turbo blow-thru lsx
i think its only matter of time before pro products start casting lsx single intakes. which is a good thing Smiley

I wonder if the're even planning for a Super Vic for the L92 heads.  I was about to send a GMPP to get ported, but figured we'd wait and see if Pro Products or Edelbrock steps up with something better....then we can just sell the GMPP as cast.

its suppposed to be designed like the oe captive gasket design. although i prefer the traditional fiber gaskets, such as used on sbc, the o-ring design has excellent sealing and easier to install.

GMPP here used them on several carbed motors I have built flawless imo. Other than the gaskets costing $30 a set they are fine by me. Plus dont the rubber oem type cost like $55 a set?

the printo seal ls gasket are like 20$ from jegs, also have room to gasket match just like traditional sbc.
the oe ls o-ring gaskets are like 40$ range

every time i think of those rubber gaskets i remember all the everyday stuff i fix mainly gm with intake gasket problems.i understand the concept and its a great thought but if everyday junkers are spitting them out whats a performance application going to do with them?i passed on a good deal for a victor with rails and all brackets  etc. because i fear them contraptions.the seller was even offering some felpro traditional style gaskets for the l92 set up.i just cant see how that would work with the grooves in the intake.

I sent an email to Pro Products, and they told me they probably wouldnt even consider making a carbed L92 intake.  So I think we can count them out.  The Edelbrock rep gave me some hope though.  He made it sound as if they might consider making one if there's enough interest.

It would be foolish not to make a super victor for L92 heads, I think they're (L92 heads) totally designed for a manifold such as a super victor.
