After having swapped LSx in a few vehicles, i have decided that there had to be better way to run accesories besides resorting to typical, used C5 and Fbody parts..  After i researched, i decided that the current available parts defeat the purpose of budget LSx swap into older vehicles. So i designed my own. If so you choose to run a single wire alternator, mechanical water pump driven fan, power steering and if your vehicle is equipped for manual steering. I have designed a serpentine system that allows all of the above configurations without having to use OEM LS alternators or power steering pumps.
Not only that, the accesories tuck in close to the engine, so the alternator wont be outboard as much as when using typical C5 and truck brackets.
Also the accesories are top mount, so they wont interfere with steering linkages or other obstacles found around the k-member.
A/C is run independent of the LS serpentine accesory drive from the factory,  if so needed A/C, can be easily adapted if there is sufficient clearance around the vehicle's k-member  lower passenger side. Subject to the type of swap mounts used.
Currently the parts still being finalised, although i have current protoypes that will be refined and be the end product.
The parts are designed to be lower priced alternative what is currently available including OEM LS parts.
Also the Crank pulley will be available as a SFI spec part.
Bear with me and i will soon post more information, configurations, and pictures. The parts are still in development, but this is an informational post.

Since im not currently a site sponsor, it would be innapropriate for me to advertise the products. But im working on it.
The parts will be of high quality and will be constructed of appropriate material, tolerances and will be CNC
machined, appropriate hardware included.

Well, it sounds like a winner. When do you think they will be up and "running"?

Dude pics!!! I built my own accessories for mine since I couldnt fit stockers around the turbo setup and the custom ones were so expensive. Plus I already had the old ones from my brothers s10 lyin around. They are kind of a pain going on and off but very compact. Your work is always top notch so I cant wait to see em.

btw I sent a few guys on tech your way via pm. I figured that way it wouldnt look like you were marketing over there since you arent a vendor. I try to play by the rules  Grin

there really basic and low priced compared to the stuff available now. im still manufacturing them, but they are being built as a side project. i have not dedicated a full order for them yet, until then i can release in quantity.
LS1tech is an excellent source for LS related info, but i dont advertise there without authorization since i plan to also offer the parts on that site.
topher455, thanks for the references. Smiley
